I think I have a problem with my alternator.
Symptoms:
Battery light stays on during driving.
Battery is loosing charge.
When I check the voltage at the battery terminals while the car is parked
and running, and I rev the engine, the voltage stays steady at 12 volts
instead of increasing slightly, say to 13 or 14 volts.
I assume I have a bad voltage regulator and/or alternator. Can I replace
only the regulator, or do I need to replace everything?
