Hi,
I was wondering how pro-active some of you are when it comes to repairing
or replacing rusty or worn-out parts?
I've always waited for a part to fail before replacing it, but I'm
seriously thinking that this approach to automobile maintenance isn't
conducive to carefree Peugeot driving. So I'm thinking that as part of a
regular cleaning and inspection program, I should start replacing parts
that look really rusty or otherwise worn. It seems like it will save me
time and aggravation to replace part on my schedule rather than the cars.
AAA used to say "drive on the top half of the tank". I'm wondering if
the same might hold true for Peugeot parts, rather then wait for a part
to fail, replace it well before it breaks.
Any thoughts?
Philip G.
