Hi Todd,
I concur with Mike Savage with water in the plug wells.
Your experience was identical to one of mine. I washed my engine -
car started OK after and it was not until next day on a trip that it
suddenly started to die. I left the car to find a farmhouse to make a
call. When I returned, the car started but ran very badly. I was able
to crawl to the dealer who noted that the plug wells were full of
water! Dry them out including the leads and you should be OK.
