I was able to replace the midas exhaust system on my DL with a relatively
new one from a 405 S parts car. However, when I drove it, the check
engine light came on during acceleration and remained on until I
declerated and stopped. It then comes on again whenever I start back-up.
Any insight into what will causes the check engine light to come on? O2
sensor? or change in engine back pressure? are the only things I can
think of that the swap might have effected.
Thanks for any help.
My wife is refusing to drive the car until I can clear this up:-(
