Whether the Mi16 5 spd and the 8V 5 spd are interchangable or not I don't
know .
But there are different trannys for the 2 engines. I assume the Mi16 trans
is beefier along the lines of the BA7 and BA10 used in the 505s, with the
beefier BA10 used for the gas and diesel Turbos.
