I think Peugeot strut warranty is always done with inserts. Probably
because there is more profit (owner pays for inserts), less labor, more
predictable results using inserts.
I have experience with three XN6 Pugs and the temp gauge on all of them
hover on the mark above the horizontal one, which is a little below 3/4.
I believe XN6 standard thermostat is 82 C.
BTW, Hector added limited slip additive in the diff. of my sister's 84
XN6 sedan and the clunking noise went away. Thanks again for the
referral.
