I was testing driving an STX Gunther had recently got in, and was in the
process of turning back into his shop when we both spotted two Micro cars.
They were both white and appeared to be taller in proportion than in length.
Gunther noticed British plates and registration. Unfortunately I was not in
a position to chase them down. (I think Gunther was relieved that I did not
"chase" them down!) I believe the cars could be one of the following:
Swatch/Mercedes "Smart" car
Peugeot Tulip
Peugeot ION
Misc other mystery car..
More than likely it was the Swatch, however Peugeot does have an electric
vehicle research center in the United States, so it is also likely that it
could be one of theirs. This all happened so fast, but I think that the car
may have had the cat-eye type Peugeot lights.
Well I guess Houston could qualify as a hot weather testing center!
