Anybody can import any car they want, period. Right now if I wanted to (and
if I had the money) I could purchase a 1998 Citroen XM, and have it in 3
weeks. It would cost me $40,000 from Citroen Andre.
(That covers all expenses) And that is pretty much what they cost new in
France. I'm sure you could pick up a 406 Coupe for less. The only problem is
convincing your banker to loan you $35,000 for a car that does not exist and
pretty much does not have a warranty.
