Does this mean that all of the locks in the car are triggered by a negative
pulse, rather than the positive pulse of most domestic cars?

My ideal setup would require a lot of wire, but I would route a switch to the
center console in the empty spot below the seat heater and window lockout
switches. My idea was to get another push-button switch (from a junkyard),
like those of the bun warmers, paint it black, and place it in the hole so
that I could more conveniently control the trunk lock from the inside. Being
black, it would blend in quite nicely--invisibly.
