Joe,
I have been wrong before, but it is my understanding that if you got an ABS
option you could not get a limited slip (Posi) Rear. This knowledge came
"word of mouth" not from a manual.

Any one out there with ABS and a posi rear? Pre 89?

Regards,
John

There is no mention of this in the '87-'88 manuals, but
'89-up sedan manuals state that Teves ABS equipped cars
have a Torsen diff (TORque SENsing). This type of
limited slip diff is supposed to be much better than
the normal clutch-type because it is activated by torque
as opposed to axle-shaft speed. Supposidly, it can
limit slip BEFORE a tire begins to spin.
