As is the way of cars, a week after I put new tires on my 84 505 sti, it
developed a nasty knock in the engine.
The short story is that the crankshaft has been damaged by a rodbearing
(#4). I have 3 options. Rebuild the engine ($3000), put in a used engine
($1500), or junk it (and buy a different car$$).
Any advice? Opinions? Wanna buy a car?
