I doubt very much that they're any more heat sensitive than most
other alloy headed cars. Here in Australia, Mitsubishis, Toyotas and
Mazdas are often cracking heads.
What I will say is that the quality of the alloy in the Pug heads is
often (but not always) inferior to the alloy in Japanese heads, so
they often suffer from more corrosion, which compounds any
overheating problems when they occur.
