    Jerry, I think you have this backwards--the '81 (1164.08) line has banjo
    fittings, but the '85 (1164.09) does not; it has more standard fittings
    that just screw in. The early one is much more expensive ($60) than the
    late one ($20). I believe they could be made of copper with a little
    fiddling, and might hold up better.
