505 V6 - ABS warning light comes on after highspeed cruising.

I've just been on a trip to the south of France, and on the way
through Germany I let the "pedal to the metal" to see how the old car
performs, and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised. Plenty of
power, managed to pass the 200 kmph, and the car still had more to
show. Nevertheless, passing around 170 kmph my ABS warning light came
on. After pulling in at the next stop, I turned off the car, and when
I turned it on again the light was off. Does anyone know why?
