Peugeot 86 505 Turn Flasher

    My flasher for the turn signals and hazard warning is going....gone.

    I have a replacement (Cooper Bussman brand) from my local auto parts
    store apparently listed as replacement for 86 505 Peugeot.

    Peugeot manual shows 3 connections
    + power from fuse F3 or F5
    C wire to signal bulbs
    M Wire M50 to grounds

    Replacement flasher (looks like a cylinder or capacitor) has 3 terminals

    L
    P
    Any one want to guess what goes where? Or do I have to get a genuine
    Peugeot replacement?

    The car is an 86 505S TD SW. I'm going to look at it tomorrow when it
    is daylight so have not pulled the old one out yet.
