Yep, I had the same problem. The copper spring clips are all that retains
the free end of the visors. They are installed in the plastic center light
thingy, and only held to the plastic by a melted over tab of plastic passing
thru a small hole in the copper spring clips. I re-seated them, after
bending them a bit tighter, and then epoxied them into the plastic center
housing. No problem since. They just didn't make the plastic retaining tab
big enough, that's all. Some good strong epoxy oughta hold forever.

The more serious problem, I think, is the plastic center thingy (overhead
light fixture) is only held to the metal roof by two small screws. Pathetic!
The overall retention to roof and headliner is poor.
