405 Mi16 Clutch Cable '93 retrofit to 89?

hey, I'm going to be needing a clutch pretty soon so I was going to replace
my clutch cable with the 1993 cable. I read in the haynes manual that 93 and
up models have the self-adjusting cable and they can be retrofitted to
earlier models... I've talked to Michael at Nelson Chevrolet and he still has
to call them for it. So can any of you non North american people dig up a
part number so we can grab that self-adjusting clutch cable?

Oh yeah, can anyone offer a clutch kit for an 89 Mi16 for cheap? Since I was
in there are there any performance clutches I can put in there for not much
more?
