If the rest of the car is fine and all it needs is a head gasket, at 108K
many people familiar with peugeot diesels would not hesitate a moment to
have a new gasket installed. I once heard a mechanic say that the peugeot
diesel engine is just getting broken in at around 100K ! head gasket kit
should be around 60-80 bucks. You may need a new set of head bolts which I
recall costing me close to 125 .00 . good luck.
