Cost of Blown T-belt Motor of MI-16 MODEL 405?

I was wondering from the listers of who have blown a timing belt(MI-16)
MODEL 405, and suffered a loss with their interference motor banging
valves against pistons?? What about the cost of a gasket set? Time of
repair? and best of all, the approx cost of the whole thing, including
labor?
I would not want to get into a dirt cheap MI-16, then end up with
more than $1,500 into it.... I could use some facts to help out with a
solution if this could be a good/bad thing...
