I don't know where and how we can get an original owner's manual,
but consider another one:

Haynes Service and Repair Manual
PEUGEOT 405 1988 to 1996 (E to N registration) Petrol
Haynes Publishing, Sparkford, Yeovil, Somerset BA22 7JJ England
ISBN 1 85960 174 X

This book should be a must for all 405 owners :-)
