I'd be careful with that Mi16

I don't know about that car. The price of that car is getting a little
bit steep for a car that is only seen via Ebay. After reading his
description, I am bothered by his lack of exact information on the car and
possibly his lack of familiarity with Mi16s. I don't know about the ABS
thing, but I think I've seen '89 Mi16s with it (possibly later in the
year). There is only one power seat for one thing and I've never driven
a 405 with a "short-throw" shifter--it's one of the longer ones I've
driven. He makes the car sound impeccable, but a couple looks at the
pictures show that it is a normal car with 10 years of life behind
it--faded paint here and there, a broken speedo, etc. 75K is fairly
unusual for a 10 year old car and a broken speedo is a little suspicious.
I found out that you can get the other picture to load by removing the
.jpg at the end of it. if you go to it, you will see a 10-year old car's
interior and the carpets that he is so proud of are caked over with
dirt and mud (http://members.aol.com/transltd/ebay/pin). he also told me
and I quote "don't worry about rust...this is Pittsburg...never any snow
or salt on the roads in the winter"! Huh?--last time I checked, my
friend in Pittsburg washes the underside of his Benz every time he drives
it in the snow because of how much salt they do use.

For all I know, it is a fine car and maybe it is worth three grand, but
see it for what it is--a non-Peugeot enthusiast selling a car that he
knows little about and a car that he may be inflating a bit.

Careful bidding!

My opinion,

Tryg
