differential oil for Wagon LSD

I spoke with the MTL/Redline oil people in CA and they recommended the
"light gear oil" (75-w80) for my wagon's diff, adding that since the oil
already had a limited slip additive there was no need to mix in a
seperate LSD additive. This morning I drained the old fluid and put in
the redline product. The diff which was a little noisy before, has
quieted down some, but I still hear it. Should I take the redline
peoples' word and not add a seperate limited slip additive? or can I
expect to quiet the diff. even further by putting in some LSD additive.?
