last week i took my 505 TD wagon to pick up some gravel for a fence i am
building. The quarry said 15 bucks for as much as you can carry in a wagon
or mid-sized pick up. All I had were about 13 10gal buckets I got from a
chinese restaurant (soy sauce). I hauled them home without even folding
down the rear seat.
Wagon, with a recently replaced transmission, ran like the work horse it
is. Once home I weighed the buckets out of curiosity -- each one was about
65-70 lbs. So looks like I got nearly 850 lbs in the wagon. I think i
could have hauled over 1000 lbs if i had more gallons and had spread the
weight in the back more evenly. Hey, but i was happy with getting 850 lbs
for 15 bucks.
