Well, my first attempt at a ZDJL timing belt has gone sour.
For some reason, I cannot get the engine running. Well, it runs,
though it is very weak. I sounds as though the cam timing is
off, but I have the marks on the belt lined up with the marks
on all 3 pulleys. The belt I installed didn't have any
"direction of rotation" arrows on it. So, I installed it
so that the writing on the belt appeared right-side-up.
The pulleys are approximately where they should be according
to the manual (10:30, 9:00, 4:30...). I wonder if the belt
should be installed the other way... Has anyone had any bad
experiences with a ZDJL timing belt?
