Just a thought, if the cable housing is the biggest problem with the
sunroofs, copper tubing is available at most hardware stores that is of
nearly the same id as the plastic housing for this cable. I would think
that a properly lubricated copper tubing replacement would be at least
as durable as the plastic seems to be.
