    When I lived in Boston a few years ago, a 504 with a customized
    wooden dash was advertised for sale on two different occasions. The
    reason I remember the advertisement is because I've always thought
    that a wooden dash -- wood covering the chrome plastic surfaces --
    would improve the 504 dash and wouldn't be that hard to do. I
    believe that the 504 for sale had oak, but I think that walnut, as
    used in Jags, would be nicer.
