Hi all,
Fuel delivery hell yet again, (I think I must be some type of K-jetronic
jinx).
Anyway, the main fuel pump is howling away like mad...we are talking
major cavitation here.
I replaced the in tank pump not long ago, used a pierburg (got the
number from Jim's page).
The in-tank pump is getting power.
There doesn't seem to be any air getting into the system, I checked all
connections.
I've ruled out the filter being clogged..unless it's chocked down like a
bad artery.
Other than the horrible screaming I am getting a hesitation from the car
when it starts out under load...it's a 5 speed.
Has anyone had the main pump go?
