Ran into heating problem. Old radiator is plugged. Radiator man
tried to rod it out and found core full of holes and had to condemn
it. Anybody have a source for these?? It is an automatic. We can
change tanks if necessary. Anybody adapted anything else to this?
Have found that '81 radiators are not up to task as they have fewer
tubes per inch. This is one reason why an '81 runs hotter than
an '82. It also explains why 81's went through fan clutches at an
alarming rate! Very interested in any input on this problem.
Checked all pick and pulls in our area and could not find anything
except (1) '81 with the less efficient radiator. Thanks for whatever
info. you can share. Bill Thomas
