forget to mention why the 403 horn is really neat? the switch is mounted on
the steering rack! It's activated by a thin metal rod running the complete
length of the steering column, which holds the horn ring tight against the
steering wheel hub. when the ring is pressed, the hub acts as a fulcrum and
the ring a lever, which pulls the rod up, different levels honking the town
or both town/country horns. you must keep the rubber boot covering the
horn switch maintained or it fills with mud and the wires corrode and fall
out.
