Peugeot Horns

Quite a few years ago, in the early 1990s, up in Michigan where I used
to live, I purchased two new horns from the Meijer's chain store. It's
rather like a Wal-Mart, and but they even have a full grocery store
inside too. The stores are huge.
Anyway, they stocked new horns in the auto parts section. They even had
provided the model listing so you could determine which horn was
recommended for your vehicle. It listed the Peugeot, and specified
something like the 'A' and the 'B' horns (they had a series from like
A-F, or something), one was a high note, one was the lower note.
The brand was Klaxon......and the packaging, from what I remember,
listed them as having come from somewhere right there in Michigan,
somewhere in mid-Michigan or western lower Michigan. Not sure what the
town was, but apparently Klaxon may have a mfg. plant in Michigan. I
think that brand has European connections, too, and perhaps even the
European location was also listed, not sure. Anyway, I've had those on
my '86 505GL now for probably a good 7-8 years and they work fine, and
    sound great.
If anyone needs horns, I'd recommend checking out Meijer's, or at the
very least, see if you can contact Klaxon in the US and perhaps order
their horns direct. I remember the pricing was very good, too. I think I
got the pair for $20-30 new.
