I still stand by my opinion that if someone's got nothing more to do in their
life than bitch bigtime about a few infrequent virus or Chevy Malibu discourses
on this Peugeot list, then apparently they have very little else to worry about
in their lives. Like it's always been said, not every post is going to be of
interest to everyone, and that's why there's a DELETE key on everyone's
keyboard. It's that simple. Some of the off-list e-mails I've already received
concerning my previous post about being sick of the 'whiners' seem to convey to
me that somehow it was largely my fault about the virus and Malibu threads on
the list. Well.....perhaps I added to it, but I only chose to post concerning
those since I felt I had some useful information.
I think I can honestly say that I generally only post Peugeot-type content, with
the exception of that virus and Malibu stuff that happened recently. But even
those posts were mostly in response to comments that had been made by others on
the list. In the case of the virus topic, I had hoped my information would be
useful to some on the list, since we all use computers, and it seems quite often
people are warning us on the list about some new evil virus. I do think Cameron
took the topic and largely overanalyzed it and greatly added to the disquiet on
    the list about the topic.
But, when it's all said and done, this list is no different than any other, and
off-topic type posts will always occur. I receive the Daily Digest and simply
scroll right by the ones I don't care about. It's either that or delete the
messages as they come in according to topic (if you get individual messages). I
think if this list gets too restrictive then people may begin to feel that
they've got to be so very careful about anything they say. In fact, I'm already
    feeling that way.
