Dear every one, I have roughly gone through the math on two issues.

    1) Non Malicious but "Mad" Mike Halley suggested that the main spar if
    you
will, is very likely bowed, yes bowed on the behind of roughened Pugs
and Bumdubluus. To get a handle on what he was saying, I took a soda
straw and bent it slightly, say 1/8 of an inch at the center. Surprise!!
the camber was of by several degrees. This bowing in MHO can very likely
be the cause of excessive camber. Upon hitting a bump, the moment of
torque about the out side trailing arm pivot will pull 'down' on the
inside pivot which in turn pulls the center of the main spar down. I
wonder if this can be checked with a string? Straightening can be as
easy or as hard as you want it to be. Home boy will want to strap the
car to a frame rail and apply lotsa hydraulic pressure to the middle of
the spar in an up ward direction (not recomended). Pros would remove the
spar, clean it, check for twists and bows fore and aft, use a pin press
to correct, add material as per Mike Halley and then paint and install.
    2) Seems to be more earnest emails 'complaining' about chevs on list
    than
e-mails on the chevs them selves, sounds a lot like a McLughanism.

    Your humble non malicious servant
