A couple of weeks ago someone recommended "Hide Food" for leather. I
ordered a couple of jars and can say without reservation that the results
are quite impressive.
In the past, I've used Lexol. I found Lexol to be a very good leather
conditioner but "Hide Food" seems to take the leather to another level.
I found Hide Food works best on hot summer days. It's got the consistency
of a tub of butter, so the summer sun helps to melt it into the leather. I
put it on with my bare hands, rub it till it melts and then leave it on.
The warmer the weather, the better it soaks in. I've been putting it on
daily and in roughly three days, the leather has become almost glove soft
and has a really rich look to it. Little wonder it's the choice of Rolls
Royce.
I think I paid $30 for two jars including shipping.
