The Vector Board (vectorbd.com) is separate from the list itself supplying an alternate archive that started in 1995 and various support pages such as this. The Archivemaster is Jim Lill
The List serves the World and is not part of PCNA however a large percentage of list members belong to PCNA
New list members are encouraged to submit a short "bio" about themselves and their Peugeot(s)
The List is not directly affiliated with "the Vector Board" although this file and archives of the list are on the vectorbd
A search of the vectorbd archives is best done with Alta-Vista advanced search. Use the word vectorbd as one of the Boolean terms.
Large files, GIF's, JPG's etc should NOT be sent to the list.
When practical, subject lines should follow this format:
Model # [Model Letters] Year Subject
Examples:
505 88 V6 Mileage
405 Mi16 89 Ignition Coil source?
505 GLS 88 What features
Keeping the 505 etc. at the start makes the archive easier to use.
When replying to mail where the reply will go to the list, take the time to "trim" or edit out some of the redundant or non-critical footer info.
Mail containing material unrelated to Peugeots, personal attacks on another subscriber, and trivial remarks or one-liner "me too" responses will not be accepted for distribution. Rambling, longwinded, or trite messages and threads should be avoided. (self-policed)
Peugeot-List is provided for and about PEUGEOT automobiles and Peugeot owner's experiences with their cars. Messages regarding other, unrelated topics are not permitted. Please, direct non-Peugeot topics to the appropriate forum, newsgroup or private email.
