That's the IROC Daytona. Probably the same deal as the conquest (mitsu engine-
John?), with more boost etc. Lotus didn't have anything to do with that engine
if it's the same. Also, if it's stock, yes it's 224 hp, but it's 0-60 time is
6.4-6.5
according to magazines, not 5.2. That car weighs about 3400lbs. In general,
Lotus does consulting on suspension (Isuzu Impulse) or rolling chassis/fiber
body technology (the De Lorean DMC-1).

Quite different. The 505 with a ring head gasket and possibly a Danielsonhead
(somebody dig up info on this head please!) could sustain higher boost
and produce a lot of HP. Problem is putting that power to the wheels
(will the differential and clutch be up to it and you need fatter tires).
