turbine housing still stuck

Ok, I admit it I still haven't been able to remove the
turbine housing from the core of the turbo. I tried
heating it, hammering it, pulling it, letting gravity do
it's thing 2 days with penetrating oil in the morning
and at night, then hammering again, then heating
again.

It didn't move a micron. So I'm off tomorrow to
either Turbo Tune or Diesel Applications, the only
two turbo specialists in the triad (Greensboro/
winston salem/high point) area. Unless somebody
has a spark of genius...

And I just found out that I could have gotten a
new turbo yesterday for $450. Not a remanuf,
the real mccoy. Is it really worth it...

Ciao,
