It is my understanding that the camshafts used in the N9Tx
are designed for good low-RPM breathing--enhancing turbo
spool up at low speed. I know that turbocharged and
supercharged engines are sensitive to camshaft profiles.
For example, the new Jaguar XJR does not have the
variable cam phasing system used on the normally aspirated
XJ8. The cam timing is static--something to do with
valve overlap causing problems with charged intake.
I think that very mild modifications or none at all
would be the way to go.
