Know your boost.

I just finished all but the cosmetic install of my VDO mechanical
vacuum/boost gauge.

Per Werner's suggestion, I ran the hose thru the speedo cable hole.
Someone had "been there before", previous owner's alarm I'll bet.

Here's the run-time results:

Warm Idle = 16-17 inHg
N9TE full boost = 8 psi (dash gauge = two needle widths over half)
