Zero compression N9TE

This weekend, I checked the compression again, and
shock #1, I have zero compression on the front
cylinder. Shock #2, I poured oil in the cylinder
and I heard it reach the oil pan right away. Sounds
like a blown piston doesn't it? Or the block...

The first time I checked compression it was good.
What I suspect happened is that the crack or hole
or whatever, was all gummed up, and so the first
2 engine revolutions, I got compression on #1, then
I went to the others and so never noticed the absence
of compression on #1.

How is the block? does it have replaceable sleeves?
I dont have an engine hoist anymore, so there is no
way I'll be able to do this myself, and it's too
expensive to have somebody else do it, unless I find
a replacement engine... If anybody gets a lead on an
engine, in particular if you are close to North Carolina,
let me know.

Ciao,
