The N9TE vs. A4 discussion made me consider that y'all might like to know
how I "think" I can get approaching 300 HP from a N9TEx.

Consider that the factory achieved more than that for their
SuperProduction (euro series) Cars. Rumor says 400 HP.

I've assumed that 400HP needs more exotic pistons, rods, and crank but
280-300 may work with stock stuff.

A lot of this is detailed on my "page" but here's a little more detail.
(copycats welcome!)

Here's the steps I intend to take to get there...

Breathing (other than turbo itself):

- Danielson Stage I head which has bigger valves and is ported
- Extrudehoned intake manifold and plenum
- bored throttle body
- smoothed ducting/hoses

Intercooler:

- air/water to improve soaking and latency limits
- large radiator in place of muffler with ice chest in trunk
- electric pump for constant circulation

Turbocharger:

- T03/04 hybrid with ceramic bearings

ECU and Boost Controls:

- standard N9TE ECU
- Saab APC system for 1+ bar boost

Exhaust:

- full 3 inch (almost) from turbo to side exit exhaust

Ignition:

MSD 6A for sure spark at high boost

Injectors:

- N9TEA (or larger) injector

Fuel Pressure Control:

- Malpassi (FSE) Rising Rate

Other:

- thermal insulation on various ducting
