I disagree, always experiment to find the best plug for your application.
The factory recommended plug is not __always__ best. In some applications
it might be, but others its not. There are very few people that would
disagree with me that on a Mitsu 2.6 the factory recommended plug is too
hot. 90% of the owners run a cooler plug and are happier. Based on many
other similarities I have noticed, it might be in the best interest of an
n9t owner to try the same.
Be sure that in your plug investigations you are comparing apples to apples.
I mention this in the respect that you might feel the new plug "outperforms
your old plug" simply because it is new. I.E.. Always compare new plugs to
new plugs.
