N9T head and Danielson

Comparing Jim's pictures with my stock head,
it's very similar to mine. Valves seem to be
the same size, but the shape of the combustion
chamber seems a bit different. Who had started
the rumor that the spark plugs were on the intake
side? They are on the exhaust side the same.

I know Jim plans on having the head/manifolds
combo Extrude-Honed(tm), but there is an additional
thing I think that should be done. Probably
even more important than all the rest:
When I removed the intake manifold, I had
noticed how the intake gasket had shrunk,
covering quite a bit of the opening. Brian
Holm wrote about something similar on the XN6.

I'm wondering if I should not cut a bit of
the gasket so it doesn't do the same again.
Was this caused simply by a cheap gasket? It
looks like the original Peugeot part to me...

Ciao,
